The militants from the trade union movement ; from the social networks and defenders of rights of ill persons who participated in the World Social Forum in Dakar widely debated on the health crisis in the world ; particularly ; the critical situation in Subsaharan Africa ; and decided to continue their debates through a common and concerted action.
They have decided to come together again at the occasion of each Social Forum regional ; continental or world level to deepen the exchanges of experiences and the debates ; and move forward with strategic proposals to solve the world health crisis.
The issue is urgent
The crisis of capitalism has aggravated the situation of the people : the right to drinking water ; to a clean environment; to food; the right to housing; to work; the right to dignity are being undermined.
In almost all countries; the health systems are attacked by increasing privatization and commercialisation which further aggravates the inequalities between the North and the South as well as the internal social inequalities in each country.
The poorest populations are the first victims of the dictatorship of financial markets and of multinational pharmaceutical companies.
Subsaharan Africa is going through a dramatic situation which leads to the death each year of 4.4 out of 8.8 million children below five years of age.
We propose:
That trade union organizations and social movements should discuss on the idea of building internationally health without borders unions and social movements,
To act together to promote a system of social protection without borders founded on the existence of economic ; social ; civil ; and political rights
To work towards a unitary assembly of health and social work professionals ; of ill people ; and of the general populace to support all actions at the local and global levels ;
To act for the annulment of debt of poor countries and against the austerity plans where people are the victims while billions of dollars have been offered to bankers that are responsible for the crisis
To contribute to the building of tools of solidarity with the Tunisian and Egyptian revolutions who
carry the hope of a better world with better health conditions

Knowing that the peace in the world is an essential determinant of peoples health we propose
continued action against war notably side by side with the people and civil society groups in Palestine; Iraq ; and Afghanistan
